Five Steps to a Drug-Free Workplace

DrugFree Idaho is pleased to offer the following Gold Standard Services to help you achieve your drug-free workplace goals. 

  1. Drug-Free Workplace Policy:

    Associates of DrugFree Idaho may adopt one of our standard policies, used by over 100 businesses and municipalities throughout the state, or can request DFI staff assist them in the development of a clear, concise, customized policy.DrugFree Idaho can also review and make recommendations on existing policies to insure compliance with Idaho Code.

  2. Training:

    DrugFree Idaho s professional and experienced staff will educate supervisors on the different components of the Drug-Free Workplace Policy, their role in implementing the Drug-Free Workplace Policy, and how to identify specific behaviors or performance indicators in the reasonable suspicion process.

  3. Employee Education:

    DrugFree Idaho s professional and experienced staff will provide employees an overview of the Drug-Free Workplace Policy, present alcohol and other drug abuse information, and discuss individual rights and responsibilities in relation to a drug-free workplace program.

  4. Employee Assistance Program:

    DrugFree Idaho is able to offer its associates affordable Employee Assistance Program services through Business Psychology Associates.Participants receive assessment, education, referral, and follow up services for employees and their family members.

  5. Drug Testing:

    DrugFree Idaho offers drug testing packages which include: convenient, certified collection sites and mobile testing; SAMHSA certified laboratories; Medical Review Officer (MRO) services with all drug tests; confidential reporting and record keeping; Department of Transportation reports; and alcohol testing (EBT) at many locations.DFI administers DOT and other drug/alcohol testing programs using a computer software system for random selection services.
