Drug Testing

Your supervisors are your most powerful resource in detecting substance abuse problems amongst employees.  Their contact allows them to directly observe performance or behavior issues, but their responsibilities should be limited and clearly stated.  Our Gold Standard Program includes free Signs and Symptoms Training for your leadership team, or whomever you choose.

Supervisor Responsibilities

  • Observe and document unsatisfactory work performance or behavior
  • Talk to employees about problems and possible solutions

Supervisor Responsibilities are NOT

  • Diagnose substance abuse problems
  • Treat substance abuse problems

Supervisors need to be able to see signs of substance abuse and how to address the issue.  The information needed by supervisors varies.  Dependent upon what other programs are available through your company and community supervisors will be responsible for different tasks.  Here are some topics that may be considered for your supervisory training programs.  Remember to keep the companys needs in mind.

Training Session Topics
