YOUTHFEST 2007!!
For Treasure Valley youth, September 14th .
Thats where DrugFree Idaho, along with the Boys and Girls Club and dozens of other community groups take over Boondocks Fun Center in Meridian, opening its attractions to local kids and families free of charge for YOUTHFEST 2007.
YOUTHFEST,
now in its sixth year,is a chance for children and families to spend time together. It is designed to be a one-stop-shop for youth and their parents to learn about community resources, explore community based youth programs, and participate in alternative and affordable youth activities that promote health and wellness. Participants have the opportunity to meet representatives from various youth organizations; witness live demonstrations, and take home materials designed to foster awareness of and involvement in, safe and drug-free activities.
