What is the Coalition?
The DrugFree Idaho(DFI) Coalition is funded by a Drug Free Communities Grant from the Federal Government. It is made up of concerned citizens/volunteers from all walks of life who are interested in joining forces to reduce substance abuse in Boise and Garden City.

A Drug-Free Community Starts with Our Children
Schools
DFI offers educational classes for elementary (Parents and Youth Against Drug Abuse) and middle school students (Project Alert).
Educating children and teens about the dangers of drug and alcohol abuse is an essential mission for the coalition.

Do Your Part to Keep Our Community Drug-Free
Community
DFI provides numerous occasions for members of the community to get involved in drug and alcohol abuse awareness. Events such as Red Ribbon Week, which involve the community as a whole, are great opportunities to promote a drug/alcohol free culture.
