DFI provides numerous occasions for members of the community to get involved in drug and alcohol abuse awareness. Events such as Red Ribbon Week, which involve the community as a whole, are great opportunities to promote a drug/alcohol free culture.
Red Ribbon Week – Uniting the community to take a visible stand against drugs. Show your commitment to living a drug-free lifestyle during the month of October and wear a red ribbon.
Fan Fest – A free annual community event hosted by the Boise Hawks and DrugFree Idaho, focused on substance abuse prevention, education and safety awareness. This family event is an educational evening during the month of May, which includes raffle prizes, fireworks, jump houses, music and lots of fun for all ages.
Movies Under the Stars – DrugFree Idaho partners with Boise Public Schools Education Foundation to offer free family nights throughout the summer, including free games, activities and substance abuse prevention education.
